Don’t fight the VA alone
Toxic Exposure
Veterans across the country are living with health complications after living and serving on military bases contaminated with PFAS, pesticides, heavy metals, radiation, and other harmful toxins. That’s why we’ve created a database of contaminated U.S. military installations and health conditions associated with each type of contamination. Click the image below to see the map.

Great service from Woods and Woods
I was originally contacted by Woods & Woods in the spring of 2019 about my ongoing VA claims and I agreed to let them help me. During the years that ensued, they helped me through the bureaucracy and ensured I complied with the numerous C&P exams, appeals. More importantly, they encouraged to be patient and not give up. Ultimately, their efforts paid off, and I achieved a 100% disability rating. I am 75 and unable to work, so I appreciate the result. I firmly believe if it were not for Woods & Woods, I would still be stuck in the same bureaucratic mire as before. Thank you, Woods & Woods!
If you, like me, attempted to navigate the labyrinthine VA disability process, you understand how opaque and confusing that can be. Rather than beat my head against the proverbial brick wall, I reached out to Woods&Woods, and my experience as a client couldn't have been better. Firstly: you're a person, not a claim number, and they make certain you know that from the beginning. My two case managers were amazing; yes, folks, you get to talk to real people! They remained in constant contact with me, so I never felt lost in the process. You know that feeling when you submit a pile of dbq's, personal & buddy statements, and the entire contents of your VA C-file? Only to sit and wait for weeks, months, maybe years without a clue as to what's happening? Once I became a client of Woods&Woods, that never happened. Not once, not ever. I was well-informed every step of the way. If i had a question I needed to ask, all I had to do was reach out to my case managers. Truly, it was a welcome change. My case was resolved much, much faster than I had anticipated, and as for my case outcome? I could not have asked for a better outcome. Woods&Woods accomplished more in just a few months than I had managed to do in over a decade. If you're a disabled veteran who is feeling lost in the bureaucratic maze of the disability process, stop; call Woods&Woods and tell them your story. You won't feel alone in your fight ever again. If you're a disabled veteran, I wish you nothing but the best of luck with your case.
