When do VA disability checks go out in 2023?
Direct deposit payments go out on the first of every month. When your VA payment falls on a weekend or a federal holiday, the payment will be made on the last business day of the previous week.
VA payments are made for the previous month. For example, payments for August would be sent on September 1. If you have recently been approved to receive VA disability payments, your first check should arrive at the start of the next month after your approval.
