Neil Woods was instrumental in founding the firm’s VA disability practice and is the firm’s owner and president. He received his law degree from Western Michigan University.

Mike Woods founded Woods and Woods in 1985 to help injured and disabled people. Under his leadership, Woods and Woods grew into a nationwide law firm with over 100 employees.

Sarah Woods earned her law degree from the University of Miami. She has practiced veterans disability, Social Security Disability, and personal injury law. She joined Woods and Woods in 2012.

Lori Underwood is a former Woods and Woods case manager. She received her law degree from Northern Kentucky University. She has experience in Social Security disability and personal injury law and was a juvenile court attorney. She has been an attorney at Woods and Woods since 2014.

Zack Evans is a former prosecuting attorney. He received his law degree from Southern Illinois University. He joined Woods and Woods in 2017.

Krystal Lechner earned her law degree from Indiana University. Her prior experience includes civil litigation at Kightlinger and Gray and in-house counsel for Mead Johnson. She joined Woods and Woods in 2018.

Cecilia Ton earned her law degree from Syracuse University. She practiced VA benefits law at firms in Rhode Island and North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association. She joined Woods and Woods in 2021.

Joseph Scott became interested in veterans law while in law school. He earned a law degree from Valparaiso. He interned at a veterans clinic in Chicago and was an attorney at the Vietnam Veterans Association before joining the Woods and Woods team in 2020.

Melissa Alexander is a veteran and attorney who earned her law degree from Indiana University in 2017. Her prior experience includes working as a deputy prosecutor and at a legal nonprofit. She joined Woods and Woods in 2022.

Andrew received his law degree from Indiana University in 2021. He is both a lawyer and member of the Army National Guard, making his work at Woods & Woods the intersection of his two worlds.
